Soybean Oil
Argentine crude deggumed soyabean oil. Quality:
good merchantable quality, solvent extracted, guaranteed
unbleached, produced from sound yellow soybeans,
according to the following specifications: Free
fatty acids: expressed as oleic molecular weight
( base max. 1`pct. rejectable above 1.25 pct) Moisture
and volatile matter: - max. 0.30 pct Impurities:
(insoluble in petrol ether) - max. 0.10 pct. Lecithin
(expressed as phosphorus): - basis max. 0.020 pct
up to 0.025 pct permitted. Sediment (Gardner break
test): - max. 0.10 pct. Unsaponificable matter (test
as per n.s.p.a.): - max. 1.50 pct. Colour in 1 inch
lovibond cell: not darker than 50 yellow and 5 red.
Oil with a flash point below 250 degrees Fahrenheit
(121 c) is rejectable.
The following deviations are permitted with the
following scales of allowances to buyers:

1.01 pct to 1.05 pct discount to be 0.6 pct of
contract price
1.06 pct to 1.15 pct discount to be 0.9 pct of
contract price
1.16 pct to 1.25 pct discount to be 1.2 pct of
contract price
Phosphorous for excess over 0.020 pct
Up to 0.021 pct discount to be 0.2 pct of contract
price
0.022 pct discount to be 0.4 pct of contract price
0.023 pct discount to be 0.6 pct of contract price
0.024 pct discount to be 0.9 pct of contract price
0.025 pct discount to be 1.2 pct of contract price
